2600 Series. Solid Carbide Spiral Omec Dovetail Bits UPSHEAR GEOMETRY – Designed for Omec dovetail machines, these solid carbide dovetail bits are extremely quiet and smooth cutting. They are manufactured with either upshear geometry for a clean bottom edge and excellent chip removal or downshear geometry for a clean top edge cut. These bits are designed with a 10 degree cutting angle and are available in right and left hand rotations. The newest addition to this dovetail line is a single flute spiral upcut dovetail bit designed for Omec machines with Eccentric spindles. L = left hand rotation.
